It’s always been a dream of mine to work on something with NIKE. I’ve been a big fan of sneakers my entire life and first started reaching out to NIKE/Jordan Brand on collaborating starting back in 2012 when I was still working for Mad Catz.

Blast To The Past: NIKE’s PlayStation Air Force 1
Earlier today, NIKE posted an ‘Inside The Vault’ retrospective on one of their most coveted collaborations, the PlayStation Air Force 1. Within it, they briefly detailed the conceptual process and even teased about the future. It makes you think… can we see a retro release of the original full grain leather design? Either way, let’s take a look at MY story and how I acquired a pair of one of my favorite sneakers of all time…
New Year. Catch Up!
Contemplating 2014’s Year in Review… Hrm.
With 2014 coming to an end, I already find myself reminiscing over the last year. The emotion highs and lows. Success and failure. What could have been and what’s to come. So much to think about. I’m going to think hard over the next few days as I’m actually on vacation (yay) and want to come up with some relevant data to present to the peeps in the street. Here’s what I’m thinking so far for my year in review!
- Favorite Event
- Travel Destination of the Year
- Best Sneaker Pick-Up
- Best Gaming Pick-Up
- 2014 Game of the Year
- 2014 Manga of the Year
- 2014 Anime of the Year
- 2014 Movie of the Year
- New Experience of the Year
- Girl of the Year
- Homie of the Year
- Nostalgia Trip of the Year
I will thoroughly report on the above and have something to you sometime after New Year’s. Until then. Thank you so much for 2014. ❤

Legendary Wings
It’s no secret that the Air Jordan XI “Columbias” are my favorite sneaker of all time. You can imagine just HOW excited I am for the Dec. 20th release of the Air Jordan XI “Legend Blue” ! The originals were released in Feb. of 1996 and they were later retro’d in 2001. The 2001 retro did not have the original blue tint to the sole, however the 2014 version will have the iced out blue sole (which is the single thing that has me going crazy) !
P.S. – Much love if you know that old Capcom game “Legendary Wings” lol.

JORDAN X SLAM DUNK COLLECTION!
Back in August I posted about the upcoming Air Jordan VI that was inspired by the manga/anime ‘SLAM DUNK’ ! Just early today NIKE & Jordan Brand officially announced the JORDAN X SLAM DUNK collection… Yes. COLLECTION! You can see in the main image above that the collaboration project consists of more than just the Air Jordan VI that we saw previously. It also includes two unique shirt designs and the Jordan Super Fly 3, which have both been designed with the SLAM DUNK fan in mind. Click below for the full gallery and more information!
Back from Japan!
I was in Japan for about 2 weeks. It was quite the experience. I don’t know how else to put it. While it was fun, it was also tiring. While I enjoyed it, I also hated it. Either way… The best way to express myself is to show you what I experienced. Below is gallery of photos and some commentary about my most recent trip. Enjoy!
