Work

Last month it was announced that Evo would be joining the PlayStation family in a joint venture between Sony Interactive Entertainment and RTS (under the Endeavor umbrella). As such, I am now a member of the PlayStation and Endeavor group and will continue to work at Evo as Director of Business Development.

It is important to note that Evo (though under PlayStation) will remain open to all publishers, developers and platforms. For more details please visit the below links:

rzrThis past November I officially contracted with Razer as a consultant for their initiatives with the fighting game community & for their fighting game related products. Razer is global brand that leads by example with their design, innovation and constant evolution of the gaming experience. For gamers, by gamers. I couldn’t be happier to join such a great team as we venture to helping grow the fighting game genre to the next level. Razer’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan and I originally talked about the fighting game community at E3 2016 in passing by. It was a great conversation that had an impact on me. His understanding of the balance between business & community really showed me that he had a deep appreciation for the game & everything that comes with it. Shortly after the announcement of teaming up with Razer, we announced the Razer Panthera for PlayStation 4. For more information on Razer’s new PS4 arcade stick head to: rzr.to/panthera

The upcoming Street Fighter V ‘Chun-Li’ Arcade FightStick TE2 from Mad Catz was stealthily teased at the recent Capcom/Street Fighter panels at Comic-Con 2015. This is a preview product for our imminent SFV range of products. It’s also the second in the ‘retro’ throwback series of arcade sticks that we’ve been releasing at Mad Catz. The first was the ‘RIVALS’ TE2, which was a retro throwback to the 2009 Comic-Con TE. More coming soon!

Street-Fighter-V1-1020x574I’ve been at Mad Catz for 8 years now. It’s been a wild ride. The team at MCZ has been working on this one for quite some time now and we finally announced it this morning. This isn’t just going to be another arcade stick. This is going to be the best range of products we’ve ever made. I can’t wait to go into more detail and show the world what we’re cooking up. More importantly I feel very blessed to be part of the Mad Catz family as we venture into the new generation of gaming with Capcom and PlayStation for this momentous title. Sure, it’s early… but I have the directions and it’s telling me to go down, right, fierce. ❤

2014_Year_In_Review

With 2014 coming to an end, I already find myself reminiscing over the last year. The emotion highs and lows. Success and failure. What could have been and what’s to come. So much to think about. I’m going to think hard over the next few days as I’m actually on vacation (yay) and want to come up with some relevant data to present to the peeps in the street. Here’s what I’m thinking so far for my year in review!

  • Favorite Event
  • Travel Destination of the Year
  • Best Sneaker Pick-Up
  • Best Gaming Pick-Up
  • 2014 Game of the Year
  • 2014 Manga of the Year
  • 2014 Anime of the Year
  • 2014 Movie of the Year
  • New Experience of the Year
  • Girl of the Year
  • Homie of the Year
  • Nostalgia Trip of the Year

I will thoroughly report on the above and have something to you sometime after New Year’s. Until then. Thank you so much for 2014. ❤

TE2I work with arcade sticks. Something I really like. One of the projects I worked on awhile ago was the design of the award winning Mad Catz Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2, the successor of the original Tournament Edition FightStick that I worked on back in 2008. The TE2 was first introduced with Killer Instinct on Xbox One but now we (at Mad Catz) are releasing it for other consoles & tying it into other games. Click below for a mini-gallery of all our TE2 FightSticks that are just about to release!
