MarkMan

The leading authority on all things arcade sticks. Proud owner of the largest arcade stick collection in the world. I am based out of San Diego, California but a world warrior at heart. As such, I travel frequently from my many bases around the world — including Tokyo, Japan (via Attasa Ltd.) and San Francisco, California (via ten/o).

I am the Global Business Development Manager for Gaming at Evolution Championship Series – The world’s largest competitive gaming event and experience. The EVO brand has grown in scale and viewership the past few years. We are thankful to be supported by all aspects of community, developers/publishers and gaming enthusiasts worldwide.

I am also an executive director for Evolution Championship Series Japan, which held it’s inaugural event in January 2018. EVO Japan 2019 is currently slated for February 15 – 17, 2019 in Fukuoka, Japan.

In 2018 I also started managing business development for ten/o Productions, a global digital-media company that specializes in producing some of the most amazing gaming & tech related experiences in the world. ten/o is responsible for the stage and viewing experience of Evo Championship Series, Capcom Pro Tour, TEKKEN World Tour and many other publisher events.

I’m also a proud member of the ‘TEKKEN Project’ team, one of the development teams under Bandai Namco Entertainment. I am the Brand and Community Advisor for the TEKKEN and work directly with Bandai Namco Ent. to help bring TEKKEN to the masses. I also helped with the launch of SOULCALIBUR VI.

As of November 2016, I’ve been contracted by Razer to assist with their fighting game products & community. “For gamers. By gamers.” Together with Razer we’ve released licensed products with Capcom for titles such as ‘Street Fighter V’ and ‘Marvel VS. Capcom: Infinite’ alongside Bandai Namco Entertainment’s ‘DRAGON BALL FighterZ’ and more. Most recently we launched a brand new arcade stick project that is the evolution of the core Atrox and Panthera fight sticks — the new Razer Panthera Evo.

In my free time I like to do commentary and hosting for fighting games.

I continue to work closely with many valued companies and individuals in the games industry. I work with many gaming hardware manufacturers to help bring their products to market.

I am based out of San Diego, California. I love the Fighting Game Community (FGC). Leader of the TEKKEN scene. Defender of Arcade Sticks. I believe in YOU. I love video games, sneakers & all things geekmode. Available for gaming, event and industry consulting.

Formerly I worked at Mad Catz for eight years as the Fighting Game Lead and the Global Community & Sponsorship Manager, under the marketing side of the company. My role was to interact gaming communities, gaming companies, events and individuals to help promote the Mad Catz & TRITTON brands along with gaming in general. I worked closely with Twitch to spearhead the Mad Catz Twitch Team Partnership. I also worked closely on the business development side with valued partners such as Sega, Atlus, Capcom, Arc System Works, Bandai Namco Entertainment and many more.
