Earlier today, NIKE posted an ‘Inside The Vault’ retrospective on one of their most coveted collaborations, the PlayStation Air Force 1. Within it, they briefly detailed the conceptual process and even teased about the future. It makes you think… can we see a retro release of the original full grain leather design? Either way, let’s take a look at MY story and how I acquired a pair of one of my favorite sneakers of all time…

EVO JAPAN.
At this past EVO 2016, I announced a special project that I’ve been working on. EVO JAPAN. I had the honor to make the announcement alongside two individuals that are pillars within the gaming industry & for fighting games, Mr. Katsuhiro Harada (TEKKEN) and Mr. Yoshinori Ono (Street Fighter). More information will be announced at this coming Tokyo Game Show in September.
I AM SETSUNA.
Looking forward to Square-Enix’s I am Setsuna in July! The title is billed as a homage to the Japanese RPGs of yesteryear, specifically Chrono Trigger, which it’s battle system is inspired from. I can’t wait! The title will be released on PC and PlayStation 4. Check out the teaser trailer and screenshots below!
LOOK FORWARD AND EVOLVE.
Hello everyone! Wanted to share that I am now the Global Business Development Manager for Gaming at EVO. I’ll be focused on bringing more business and eyes to the fighting game community (FGC)! See you at EVO!
BTW. Working with EVO/FGC was something I always did. It’s not my main job, BUT it will be a main focus. I’ll tell you about my full-time gig soon.
Final Mission at Mad Catz. Mission Complete.
Last night played host to one of the greatest gaming exhibitions of all time. Music sensation, Lupe Fiasco went up against Daigo ‘The Beast’ Umehara in an epic bout to ring in the launch of Capcom’s much anticipated STREET FIGHTER V. How did it go? Read the report below.
Thank YOU. We got next…
I saw that the news is out there. I wanted to thank everyone I’ve worked with at Mad Catz over the last 8 years.
As you probably have heard. Mad Catz has been restructuring and the company work force has been affected by layoffs. I was laid off last week as a result of this. I have nothing but deep love and admiration for Mad Catz. MCZ is a company that believed in me and a community that I love. Even though everyone knew I was planning on leaving, they decided to take care of me and let me go, which I am very grateful for. Thank you Mad Catz.
We grew that brand to be something amazing. I’ll always cherish the memories, knowledge, friendships and connections we’ve shared. I wish Mad Catz nothing but the best in the future.
I’ll still be around gaming. I’ll still be involved with the fighting game community. What’s next? You’ll find out soon. Thanks everyone for the love and support over the past few years.
Much LOVE and RESPECT,
Mark ‘MarkMan’ Julio
