This is probably going to be my last EVO with Mad Catz. No, nothing is wrong with me or MCZ (in fact, I think the company is in the best position it’s been in a long time). I just want to shift my life focus. After I complete the Street Fighter V range of products and help launch them to market, I will be taking a seat back from gaming and focusing on other passions. More importantly, my daughter is going to be starting high school later this year and I’m going to focus on being a better father — a full time one for her. I won’t be leaving the FGC, so you’ll still see me around. That being said. Let’s make this EVO (and next year) an amazing one.

P.S. – I’m a die hard Mad Catz fan and supporter. I will do my best work ever until my time comes. *salute*
I’ve just partnered up with Twitch to bring some amazing gaming content to the internet! I’ll be focusing my gaming streams on TEKKEN 7, retro gaming and all kinds of geeky stuff (like this website)! Please check out my Twitch channel by heading to twitch.tv/MarkManSDT !
I forgot to post about this when it was first announced as I’ve been very busy with work… If you know me, you’ll know I’m very passionate about video games. I’m especially fond of fighting games. The TEKKEN series is one of my favorite franchises of all time and the fighting game that introduced me to competitive gaming.
Introducing TEKKEN 7’s newest fighter… Josie Rizal. The first character of Philippine descent in the TEKKEN series. Her name is a tribute to one of the heroes of the Philippines, Dr. Jose Rizal. I was very happy to help work on this and name this character with the TEKKEN Project Team. =D Thanks Harada-san & team for involving me!
If you’re interested in trying out TEKKEN 7, I’ll be bringing the game to upcoming events with Mad Catz. This weekend we’ll be in Houston for Texas Showdown 2015 and later this month we’ll be at Combo Breaker 2015 in Chicago during memorial day weekend! Get ready for the next battle!
I’ve been at Mad Catz for 8 years now. It’s been a wild ride. The team at MCZ has been working on this one for quite some time now and we finally announced it this morning. This isn’t just going to be another arcade stick. This is going to be the best range of products we’ve ever made. I can’t wait to go into more detail and show the world what we’re cooking up. More importantly I feel very blessed to be part of the Mad Catz family as we venture into the new generation of gaming with Capcom and PlayStation for this momentous title. Sure, it’s early… but I have the directions and it’s telling me to go down, right, fierce. ❤

This cool guy just celebrated it’s 6th birthday (Street Fighter IV & this product launched in Feb. of 2009). It helped create a legacy and new age within the fighting game community for Mad Catz. This past weekend at Cannes Winter Clash, the winner of the Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament (Poongko, S. Korea) used the original SF4 Tournament Edition FightStick to claim victory. It’s been a wild ride. You ain’t seen nothing yet.
To celebrate the 6th anniversary of the original Mad Catz Tournament Edition FightStick, Mad Catz will be giving away a special prize package this week! One lucky winner will win this legacy pack including the two below FightSticks!
– Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition for Xbox 360
– Ultra Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick TE2 for Xbox 360

Life is a lot busier than I thought it would be at this time of year. Mostly in good ways. I haven’t been able to post here often but I’ve been at it on twitter and instagram. I have until mid-next week to have some “me” time so I’ll definitely be catching up with this site and everything I love until I’m off and around the world again. Keep following. I promise I’ll have some cool stuff for you.
I’ve been a bit busy with work. Just got back from CES today and saw I got a care package from my friends at NIKE while I was away. :O
