Earlier today, NIKE posted an ‘Inside The Vault’ retrospective on one of their most coveted collaborations, the PlayStation Air Force 1. Within it, they briefly detailed the conceptual process and even teased about the future. It makes you think… can we see a retro release of the original full grain leather design? This past November I officially contracted with Razer as a consultant for their initiatives with the fighting game community & for their fighting game related products. Razer is global brand that leads by example with their design, innovation and constant evolution of the gaming experience. For gamers, by gamers. I couldn’t be happier to join such a great team as we venture to helping grow the fighting game genre to the next level. Razer’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan and I originally talked about the fighting game community at E3 2016 in passing by. It was a great conversation that had an impact on me. His understanding of the balance between business & community really showed me that he had a deep appreciation for the game & everything that comes with it. At this past EVO 2016, I announced a special project that I’ve been working on. EVO JAPAN. I had the honor to make the announcement alongside two individuals that are pillars within the gaming industry & for fighting games, Mr. Katsuhiro Harada (TEKKEN) and Mr. Yoshinori Ono (Street Fighter). More information will be announced at this coming Tokyo Game Show in September.
Looking forward to Square-Enix’s I am Setsuna in July! The title is billed as a homage to the Japanese RPGs of yesteryear, specifically Chrono Trigger, which it’s battle system is inspired from. I can’t wait! The title will be released on PC and PlayStation 4. Check out the teaser trailer and screenshots below!
I forgot to mention here! As of last month, I am now officially contracted to work with Bandai Namco Entertainment as the Brand and Community Advisor for TEKKEN. If you didn’t know. I love the TEKKEN brand and series of games. Looking forward to doing a lot more with TEKKEN across the globe!
This isn’t my full time gig, but just another thing I’ll be taking care of as I evolve to my final form. ^_^
