This past November I officially contracted with Razer as a consultant for their initiatives with the fighting game community & for their fighting game related products. Razer is global brand that leads by example with their design, innovation and constant evolution of the gaming experience. For gamers, by gamers. I couldn’t be happier to join such a great team as we venture to helping grow the fighting game genre to the next level. Razer’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan and I originally talked about the fighting game community at E3 2016 in passing by. It was a great conversation that had an impact on me. His understanding of the balance between business & community really showed me that he had a deep appreciation for the game & everything that comes with it. At this past EVO 2016, I announced a special project that I’ve been working on. EVO JAPAN. I had the honor to make the announcement alongside two individuals that are pillars within the gaming industry & for fighting games, Mr. Katsuhiro Harada (TEKKEN) and Mr. Yoshinori Ono (Street Fighter). More information will be announced at this coming Tokyo Game Show in September.
Looking forward to Square-Enix’s I am Setsuna in July! The title is billed as a homage to the Japanese RPGs of yesteryear, specifically Chrono Trigger, which it’s battle system is inspired from. I can’t wait! The title will be released on PC and PlayStation 4. Check out the teaser trailer and screenshots below!
The good people at GameStart Asia announced new stages and characters for their newly released iOS / Android compatible retro action title, GameStart 2015 – The Game! The latest update features Mad Catz themed stages and new playable character ‘MARKMAN’ — a hero who uses his love for FightSticks and sneakers to battle the forces of evil, lol. 🙂

Life is a lot busier than I thought it would be at this time of year. Mostly in good ways. I haven’t been able to post here often but I’ve been at it on twitter and instagram.
