It’s a me! Mario on your sneakers! I’m just gonna leave this here. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Converse One Star J sneaker model, Converse is teaming up with Nintendo to create two snazzy limited edition leather One Star J designs that feature Mario & Bowser from the original Super Mario Bros. Check out the awesome pics below! Slated to release this week in Japan only, best wishes trying to get your hands on these!
Gaming fans probably took notice of of the SEGA Mega Drive Megatron Transformer that Takara Tomy is releasing in October. Autobot fanboys were probably up in arms about the lack of gaming representation on their end… However just not too long ago, Takara Tomy announced and released concept art for their forthcoming Sony PlayStation Optimus Prime (which REALLY got me excited)…
If you’ve been following the site or my social media, you’ll know I am a big fan of the PlayStation brand. Everything from the games and hardware, to lifestyle things such as PlayStation sneakers, etc. I just love the brand that I grew up with. So when I woke up early this morning…
Today, courtesy of Radio Kaikan we have our first actual photos of the work in progress Autobot leader, donning the classic PlayStation styling.
The Transformers X PlayStation Optimus Prime is slated for release in early 2015.
Madonna anyone? Okay never mind, I think I’m too old. Anyways like a prayer… More work-related stuff coming that was announced by our partners at ATLUS recently! The Persona 4 – The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold Arcade FightStick TE2 by Mad Catz is on it’s way to Japan (yes, Japan only for now)! This marks our (Mad Catz) first time working with ATLUS to collaborate on an official arcade stick release. I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve been a fan of the Persona series since the original Revelations: Persona game on the original PlayStation. With how much the game has grown/changed (Persona 3 to Persona 4, notably) from an RPG to now a full fledged fighting game series, I am so happy that the series and it’s fanbase has really taken off to bigger and better things! I love Persona and fighting games, how could this go wrong? It didn’t. 🙂 Check the announcement blog post from the official Persona site below!
Just earlier today, Mad Catz Japan announced their latest collaboration with Capcom in the form of the Ultra Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2! Two models were detailed, one for the Xbox 360 and one that is compatible with both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4! Currently only slated for a Japan release, but Mad Catz did mention they are working on bringing it out to other markets. Click below for all the info!
Also, on a personal note. I was so excited for the announcement of this project. We worked really hard on this one and I’m just in love with the blue PS3/PS4 design. Please look forward to more news, SOON!
Late last year Converse launched an awesome collaboration with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure / 『ジョジョの奇妙な冒険』 to do a special sneaker (Chuck Taylor All-Star) based on the first arc (Phantom Blood) of the recently launched animated series. At the same time they teased about a special sneaker commemorating the then forthcoming third arc of the animated series and arguably the most popular, Stardust Crusaders. Based off the main character Jotaro Kujo, the Converse ALL STAR OX/JO2 is now open for preorder until June 15th on the 2PMWORKS & p-bandai online stores. It should be noted that they are making these available in men’s and women’s sizes! These limited edition Converse are scheduled to ship later this year in December.
